Red yeast rice - a natural source of monacolin K, which belongs to statins.

Red yeast rice is a traditional food used mainly in Chinese cuisine and is obtained by fermentation of rice grains, which turn red due to the presence of Monascus purpureus microorganisms.

This process results in, among other things, monacolin K - an active substance that is classified as a statin and is often used in cholesterol control products.

The capsules also contain thiamine, which plays a role in heart function.

In addition to monacolin K from red yeast rice, HealthyWorld brand capsules also contain:

• Coenzyme Q10 - a fat-soluble molecule that our bodies make themselves, is found in all cells and the largest amounts are found in the heart, liver, and kidneys.
• Vitamin B1 or thiamine - an important B vitamin involved in heart function and contributes to the functioning of the nervous system and the release of energy during metabolism.

A daily dose provides up to 2.5 mg of monacolin K.
