MCT stands for medium chain triglycerides. These are saturated fats that are quickly absorbed by the body and, due to their direct metabolism in the liver, are an excellent source of energy.

MCT oil from the FutuNatura brand is derived from high quality coconut oil from Sri Lanka. It is produced in compliance with internationally recognized certifications (ISO, FSSC, HACCP).

FutuNatura MCT C8:C10 Premium Coconut Oil contains no added preservatives. The oil, when processed by fractionation, removes long chain fats which are absorbed more slowly by the body. MCT oil thus does not burden the gastrointestinal tract because it is efficiently absorbed and quickly digested. It consists of 3 important medium-chain fatty acids:

• C8 (caprylic acid) - its content is up to 59%, very quickly absorbed,
• C10 (capric acid) - content up to 40%, it is a fast source of energy,
• C12 (lauric acid)- only 1%, as it takes longer to metabolize due to its longer composition than C8 and C10.

A total of 99% caprylic (C8) and capric (C10) acid, which is rapidly digested by the body.

Oil with medium chain triglycerides often used:

• athletes, because it is a quick source of energy,
• people on the LCHF and KETO diets, where it is important to consume as little carbohydrate and more fat as possible.

Use

Use: Because it has a neutral taste, you can use it almost anywhere. You can enjoy it on its own or in salads, smoothies, protein drinks or make "bulletproof coffee". Suitable for cooking, up to a maximum temperature of 120 °C.

Daily dose:Start with 1 teaspoon* and slowly increase the dose to a maximum of 1 tablespoon per day.

*Do not exceed 1 teaspoon per day for the first few days, as MCT oil may cause diarrhea in sensitive people.
