Organic Brown Sugar Demerara is named after its place of origin - it comes from Paraguay. You can recognise it by its light colour and pleasant smooth molasses smell and it is characterised by larger golden, shiny crystals.
Because of its texture, it is an excellent addition to all dishes and desserts that need additional crumble, such as bases or doughs for cakes, cookies, oatcakes and the like. Of course, you can also use it to sweeten your favorite hot beverage, other drinks and meals.
