Docosahexaenoic acid or DHA, also DHA, is one of the most important omega 3 fatty acids found in the human body, especially in the brain and retina. It is mostly absorbed into the body through food of animal origin, particularly fish, which is a rich source of omega 3.

DHA has a role in brain function* and maintenance of vision*,so additional intake is recommended for all, especially pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
