Maitake (professionally Grifola frondosa) is a very tasty edible mushroom, which is an endangered plant species in Slovenia. In the form of a shrub, it most often grows on oak roots and stumps.

It is often used in cooking in Japan and is also very popular in Chinese tradition for various purposes. It contains many substances including polysaccharides.

Each capsule contains 500 mg of Maitake extract with 10% polysaccharides!

Vita World capsules contain Maitake mushroom fruit extract. The soluble portions of the mushroom powder are removed or evaporated. It is a complete concentrate containing important secondary substances - polysaccharides in the best possible availability.
