Nevage (Centaurea cyanus) is an annual plant that is believed to be native to the Middle East. It is named for its characteristic blue flowers, which attract beneficial insects in the fields, so farmers deliberately sow it in their vegetable gardens.

Hydrolate or flower water is a plant extract obtained by distillation of flowers. It contains all the water-soluble aromatics of the plant, as those that are not water-soluble are separated to form the essential oil.

Use

Use: apply twice daily to a cleansed face. Spray all over face and neck, leave on for 1-2 minutes and wipe off with a cotton pad. Can also be used as a makeup remover or as a compress for closed eyes to relieve the feeling of tired eyelids.
