Pomegranate oil - a valuable oil for the care of mature skin

Pomegranate oil is extracted from the seeds or kernels of the pomegranate (Punica granatum). Only a few decilitres of this precious oil are obtained from 100 kg of seeds. However, the oil is so potent that it is used drop by drop.

Because it is one of the most expensive oils, it is rarely used in cooking. In cosmetics it is extremely popular and appreciated as it does not create a greasy feeling on the skin. It is quickly absorbed and is therefore also suitable for acne-prone skin care.

It also moisturises dry skin, penetrates deep into the skin and helps to slow down ageing and wrinkles.

The oil is suitable for consumption or nourishment and is a delicacy for gourmets.
